- John Piper

MISSION

We empower through holistic discipleship, mobilize care and partner in development needs.

Our Beliefs

  • Scripture

The Bible is the inerrant truth of God, given by divine revelation to men that it may reveal more of Himself and communicate the purposes of God. The Word of God is living, active, and the final authority on all matters.

    [Ref. Hebrews 4:12, John 1:1, 1 Timothy 3:16, Romans 12:1]

  • God The Father

We believe that God the Father, the first person of the Trinity, creates and orchestrates all things for His own purposes and grace.

    [Ref. Psalm 138:8, Hebrews 4:13, Genesis 1:1, Psalm 97:1-6, 9, Isaiah 55:9, Job 38:11-41, 16-18, 1 John 4:16]

  • God The Son

We believe that God the Father sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, to be the Redeemer and Liberator of the whole world by acting as the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the world. Jesus Christ lived as 100% God and 100% man with all fullness of God and experience of man, without sin.

    [Ref. John 3:16; 10:30, 2 Corinthians 5:21]

  • God The Spirit

We believe that God’s Spirit is a divine person in the Trinity, in all equality with both the Father and the Son. The Spirit of God is an active participant in humanity by acting as the true Counselor of wisdom, convicting the world of sin, bearing witness to the Gospel, bestowing gifts, and actively restraining the evil one.

    [Ref. John 14:16-17; 16:13, 2 Corinthians 3:6, Romans 8:37]

  • Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but in sinning (a voluntary choice), Adam fell from the perfection of his habitat in Eden. In his sin, all sinned, and all are born into a fallen nature and with full condemnation without excuse.

    [Ref. Genesis 1:27; 3:1-6, Romans 5:12, 17, 19]

  • Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift given unto man by the grace of God. Each person must be born again into the life everlasting. Salvation puts back together a right relationship between man and God. Salvation is an instantaneous moment that puts to death the old life and exchanges it for the new life of Jesus Christ. Salvation is a free gift of God, and is to be received in full by each man of his own accord.

    [Ref. Ephesians 2:8-9 , 1 Peter 1:3, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 | Ephesians 1:11-12, John 1:12, Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17]

  • Sanctification

We believe that every believer is set apart unto the Lord. Each believer is declared to be holy and fully identified as a saint. This is the believer's life with our Heavenly Father. Sanctification is the process in which the full life of Jesus becomes a greater expression through each believer.

    [Ref. 1 Thessalonians 3:13, Romans 8:27, Acts 20:32, Ephesians 1:13, 1 Corinthians 1:2, 1 Peter 2:9]

  • The Church

We believe that the Church is the Bride of Christ. We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a meal celebrated by believer’s to correspond with the body and blood of Jesus Christ; further, this meal is indicative of a covenant between the believer and God the Father. We believe in a believer’s baptism as a means of testimony of one’s right relationship with God. We believe that the Spirit of God gives each person specific gifts to use for building up the Church. We believe that each believer has been equipped and called to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

    [Ref. Matthew 26:26-29, Romans 6:3-5, Acts 2:41-42, 1 Peter 4:10, 1 Corinthians 12:5-6, Matthew 28:19-20]

  • The Enemy Agents

We believe that there is a real and profound enemy of the Kingdom of God. He is a fallen personality, pursuing pleasure in self and deception. While he cannot and will never attain victory, he is a perpetrator and maximizer of brokenness in this world. We acknowledge the spiritual realm of darkness and confusion, but magnify the liberating power of the Spirit of God to overcome all evil.

    [Ref. Job 1:12, 2 Corinthians 2:11, Isaiah 59:19]
