The concept of global discipleship has taken us from sitting and envisioning women wrapped in robes of color resting under the trees with children singing songs of praise and worship, to being able to share our lives and our hearts with those women and to sing and to dance with the children. Envisioning men who once left their community return to play a vital role in discipling their families and the generations. The Lord has taken us on years of adventures in East Africa, enabling us to be able to reach the roots of many communities and equipping our leaders to be able to impact thousands of children. But, He is not finished.
OUR CTI TEAM HAS LANDED ON NEW SOIL as we follow God’s call to take Rejoice Project to Haiti! Years ago when God took Nathanael and a group of students to serve the people there, we knew God would one day return our team to disciple His people. Nathanael is leading the team as he returns to Haiti for the 4th time and spends the next few days training leaders. We are honored to continue our deep and fruitful partnership with the 410 Bridge, as together we work to bring about sustainable change in the lives we disciple and the communities we serve. We stand amazed as God allows us to use a similar blue print that is being used in East Africa, as a model for discipleship in Haiti. This would not be possible without the countless hours people have spent already planting seeds through service and relationship by the 410 Bridge. By continuing to invest in the leaders of Haiti, we are prayerful, and our hearts are eager for the restoration of God’s people back to himself. He will make the impossible possible in the generations to come. By the Lord’s mercy and grace, we know that it is not our will being done, and not our name being made known, but only His.
Out of obedience we have said "Yes," and out of faith, we walk in surrender and devotion to Him. We love that we answer to a sovereign God, as we know that even though He is calling us to Haiti, it is not in our power, but the Lord’s, that hearts will be won and lives will be transformed.
We ask that you join us today and throughout the week as we seek God’s will for Haiti and the future of discipleship among the generations. This week we are burdened for God’s people and are fasting as a team. We ask if you feel called, to join us in fasting for awakening. It is our heart that God’s people would be awakened to His great love. This could not be possible without partners in the gospel, both through prayer and financial support. We thank you for this partnership as God is using you in His great story of redemption.
Philippians 1:6 tells us that it is He who began this good work in us that will bring it to completion. Lord, we fall to our knees in prayer, asking you to transform the lives of the people we may encounter this week, that your name will reign over generations to come, and that communities will be brought back in unity with you. We ask this of you God, knowing that only by your hand, may your work will be brought to completion. Amen.
Follow along this week as we share the story as it unfolds!
