Holy and Providential Lord,
We come to you trusting and knowing that faithful is who you are. That your promises are true. That as we follow you, you make our paths clear. You promise us in Isaiah that you make paths in the wilderness and rivers in the wasteland. That even when we are weary and dry that we can trust your promises.
I declare that your faithfulness far surpasses my understanding. The way you author and orchestrate every detail sews sturdy threads of grace and hope throughout my circumstances. I pray that as I move forward in the midst of your provision, those threads of grace would serve as reminders of who You are and what you’ve called me to.
God, I confess that being in the middle of your faithfulness is difficult, and that it is by your grace alone that I am able to claim and declare Your provision over my circumstances. God, I pray that your sovereignty would rush over my fear like a calming river, and that with every move I make I would be reminded of how your faithfulness is written all over my life.
I pray for a heart that desires your glorification over the approval of my peers. I pray for confidence and obedience to follow where you’ve called me. Jesus, we offer our lives to you, knowing that our sole purpose on earth is to be a mouth piece and testament of your grace. So, since we know that what you promise is true, we walk forward in confidence and boldness, declaring the promises you’ve yet to fulfill.
You are our rock, our guidepost, and our hope. It is to your grace and provision alone that we cling, almighty King and Savior. It’s in your faithfulness that I pray and declare, Amen.
