From My Experience to Yours...

Holy wow, a year later and here I am sitting in Nathanael and Kristin Avery's home.  Only this time I'm on the other end of the Journey Internship.  Last year I was a Journey 2009 intern and went to Kenya with the Avery's.  It was an amazing experience that turned my world upside down.  God revealed so much to me, and now he is doing it again.  I don't know what it is about this Choose to Invest/Journey Internship, but you can't keep me away from it.

(Sorry Kristin and Nathanael, you won't be able to shake this guy)

Anyway, this year I am helping them with planning and preparing for this year's Journey Internship, and it has been nothing short of amazing.  It's been so revealing, being on this admin side of things, about how much work goes into this experience. Unfortunately, I won' t be going to Kenya this summer, but in all honesty, I'm okay with that.  Being here for this much of the experience is enough for me and I trust that God is still going to use this summer in amazing ways.  So for all of you out there wondering what it is like from the inside of Journey 2010... it's a group of solid people, submitting to our LORD's leading, that are truly concerned about their interns and are crafting every moment of this trip for them.  If it's even possible, I'm falling even more in love with Choose to Invest and the Journey Internship through this experience.  Thanks does not do justice.  So to Nate, Kristin, and Kristine, you are giving me an opportunity to do something I will never forget and will forever appreciate.

I cannot wait to meet the interns in just a few days.  God has once again brought together a team of individuals passionate about Him and the people of Kenya, and I am so excited to see what He does!

God bless and keep letting Him daily captivate you.
