God is so good, SO GOOD, and He is on the move here in East Africa!
Meet Justice (pic above) one of the Rejoice Project team members. Justice is a 20 year old leader in his community and someone who God is growing up to be a mighty leader for the next generation. He comes from a home where is father was a teacher and headmaster for over 30 years and currently a leadership council member. Justice has one of the purest hearts for God and is filled with light and joy. His mother Agnes told us as we were leaving the community, "When you first came to start this project my son was a boy, but now we can see that God has made him a man." The way that God is moving in Justice is amazing and we are excited to continue to watch the transformation in him and they way it changes the world around him. This week pray that God will continue to give him maturity, wisdom, and favor with man.
It is an exciting season as we are finishing up one journey and beginning to start interviewing for another. "Spring is in the air." Well here in East Africa it is. We can feel the warmth coming and with that a new season of ministry. We are excited and can see God doing so much already. We are so very blessed that God allows us to experience immediate fruit and we recognize the total dependence we have in Christ and His faithfulness. He is the one who awakens hearts and he is the one who causes the seeds to grow.
Journey: Journey was amazing this year! We loved it and miss those guys so much; we miss our alumni so much too. It is amazing how places in Africa and people spark memories with different former interns, and it is often like they are with us even if their physical bodies are not. Journey Summer 2012 has ended and they are heading back to school. Please pray for there continued transitions and pray for our Journey Summer 2013 and Journey Fall 2013 interns as they are starting to apply!
Rejoice Project: We are heading out to a community today to spend some time serving alongside the new rejoice project team in one of the 410 Bridge communities as they assist another team in distributing Bibles. We are excited for the opportunity to walk along side them, empower them, and watch as they lead their community. We are also preparing for another North Point team to join us in Ngaamba and implement another Rejoice Project Camp on Individuality later this month! We are busy and God is so good. Please pray for all of the Rejoice Project teams, their leadership, their future leadership and the service teams coming to empower and serve with them.
Kimbilio: Please continue to join us in prayer for and over Kimbilio as God is moving in mighty ways and showing us things we never imagined so soon. So thankful for the Holy Spirits leading!
Can't wait to post pics and tell stories of this week!
Thankful for your prayers. Thankful for your partnerships. Thankful God invites us in and allows us to be part of HIS STORY! To Him be the glory forever.
