It's hard to believe that today is the first day of March 2012! We have been talking about the Run for Orphans event since last May and now we are quickly approaching our race date. We have 30 days left to build a community of runners to help support the Kimbilio and Rejoice Projects. This event is so important to us as we officially launch the Kimbilio Project out to the public and begin the process of rallying support around the project and the children that it will impact. It has been so encouraging to see people gather around the cause and volunteer, recruit, donate, and organize for Race for Orphans.
We still have plenty of space for runners and fun run participants! If you've already signed up, THANK YOU!! If you plan on participating but haven't signed up yet, we would love to see you do so this week. Why is the Run for Orphans race important? Launching a home for East Africa's orphaned is no easy task! We need an army of people working along with us to help make Kimbilio happen. We are currently focused on "Phase I" of Kimbilio and our goal is that this event helps to launch us into the Phase I with great momentum.
You can help us now by continuing to spread the word about Run for Orphans and encouraging your friends, small group, family, youth groups, and neighborhood clubs to come out to participate in changing the future of orphaned children in Africa!
